About Austin Taylor Photography
Austin
As a photographer I love the Shetland Islands because they offer so many opportunities. I’ve been here taking photographs for over 30 years and have barely scratched the surface! I enjoy photographing people, and regularly shoot weddings, events, fashion, and portraits. I often contribute to the press and media and have licensed images for use in books, magazines, newspapers and on television. I photograph anything and everything but much of my personal work includes photographs of landscape, wildlife, and astronomical phenomena and you'll see lots of my personal work on this website. The key to my work is to try to capture the essence of Shetland.

My photographs are available to buy as prints and calendars through this website while other formats, such as photo mugs, greetings cards and jigsaws are available on the Shetland Arts and Crafts Association's Marketplace.

All images are also available for licensed use.

I am available for portraits, events, weddings; and commercial commissions in Shetland and elsewhere and I run occasional workshops where I share my passion for photography.
