The
Coronavirus COVID-19 global pandemic has had a massive effect,
seriously affecting the health, livelihoods and businesses of
millions of people worldwide. There has been a requirement to
stop many aspects of daily life everywhere and restrictions are updated on a frequent basis.
I am following the instructions and advice published by Scottish
Government here:
https://www.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/.
The guidance
continues to affect my ability to undertake photographic commissions,
attend events, run photo workshops or attend any sales events. My
family's safety and health, and that of my customers and the general
public is of the utmost importance to me.
From 5th January
2021, and within the updated guidance, I am now able to offer the
following services within Shetland, but please note that I am
currently limiting travel to Shetland mainland and permanently connected islands.
Commissioned photo
shoots - external
I am currently able to offer external photo shoots
of people, buildings and things. All Scottish Government guidance
must be adhered to, including that no more than 6 people from 2
households including mine may meet, social distancing is maintained,
and hygiene guidance is followed for all clients and others present.
Note that children under the age of 12 from these households do not
count towards the total number of people counted in a gathering.
Commissioned photo shoots - Weddings
and other Life Events
I am able to photograph Weddings and
Funerals indoors or outdoors provided all Scottish Government
guidance must be adhered to
"Non-stop", impromptu or spontaneous
individual portraits - if I see you whilst out on a walk I
will be happy to photograph you there and then. No more than 6
people in total can meet from one other household to mine, not
including children under 12.
Commissioned photo
shoots - internal
I have resumed all internal photo shoots for
vacant and occupied property and for photographing people, provided
all Scottish Government guidance is adhered to.
Product Photography - internal
I
am able to undertake product photgraphy at my studio, provided all
Scottish Government guidance is adhered to in delivery and collection of
products.
Photo workshops and teaching
I
have resumed face-to-face external workshops that can be
supplemented by a range of online "Better Photography for You" workshops available for live delivery one-to-one or to small groups.
I am
also available for online consultation and teaching via video
conferencing.
News and photojournalism
I
am able to cover external news stories.

galleries remain online for sales and all products listed will be
delivered as soon as possible (delivery times may be slightly
extended to take account of the current restrictions and the
arrangements of my production and delivery partners).
