All I have done to this image is lightened it slightly and increased the contrast a bit, along with some modest sharpening and noise reduction. I haven't altered the white balance, which means that these are the actual colours as recorded by the camera sensor - even though to the human eye, colours are barely distinguishable. What the still image cannot show though is the amazing movement of these lights, which have to be seen to be believed!
Comet C/2011 L4 (PANSTARRS) with Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and a satellite flying between the pair over Stream Sound, the lights from Scalloway in the distance.
